The fog is starting to lift in Santa Barbara

And it’s starting to feel a lot like summer.  Take a look at some of the July events happening in and around Santa Barbara. Summer is my favorite time of year. The sun stays up late, people are happy. the energy is up and there is always a lot to do.

Below is a list of just some of the Summer events Santa Barbara County has going on in July.

The Downtown 1st Thursday Art Walk happens all year long, but is the most fun during the summer IMO! It starts at 5:00pm and usually goes until 8ish.

Every Thursdays during summer check out Gin & Jazz at The Belmont El Encanto. It goes from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
Every Saturday (all year round)
4:00-6:00pm Paseo Nuevo Mall has an event called: Sounds on State.I have never been, but definitely gonna check it out AND the Cruisery has Bingo After Dark starting around 8:30/9:00ish.

Every summer on Friday night from July 5 through August 23 (excludes Fiesta Week). I am so excited for Free Movie Night @ The Sunken Garden.
You can lay your blankets out as early as noon and movies don’t start until it’s dark, so basically midnight (not really).
Every 2nd Saturday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
FREE Kids Club at Paseo Nuevo Mall
I don’t know if you drop the kids off or stay, but it sounds like it could be cool!
